Background: This 32 year old San Francisco man consulted with Dr Mabrie, interested in Chin Augmentation surgery. He had been looking at pictures of himself and was noticing fullness under his chin. He discussed his concerns with Dr. Mabrie, primarily the safety of chin augmentation surgery, and making sure there would be a noticeable difference after the surgery. Dr. Mabrie’s Assessment: “This man had good facial features in general. He is a good-looking guy with a well-proportioned and symmetric face. Like many individuals, the lower third of his face was slightly to moderately under developed, relative to the remainder of his face. Because the chin was slightly recessed, the skin was beginning to sag under his chin. His face was looking fuller than usual for his overall body fitness. I consulted with him using Computer Imaging to demonstrate the results achievable with surgery and let him know that chin augmentation surgery is extremely safe.
