ABOUT OUR PATIENT
This East Bay woman came to us looking for a solution to something that had been bothering her for years—deep-set eyes that were becoming more prominent with age and recent weight loss. The combination of volume loss in both her upper eyelids and tear troughs created dark shadows that made her appear more tired than she felt. MFI TREATMENT PLAN
This was definitely a more advanced case that required a delicate hand and deep understanding of facial anatomy. The tear trough correction was straightforward, but the upper eyelid hollowing was trickier. This area can be high-risk for swelling and uneven results if not approached correctly. Dr. Mabrie used a microcannula technique, which allowed for precise filler placement with minimal trauma. We selected Restylane® for its smooth texture and versatility in delicate areas. Using our Illumination 360° approach, we focused on restoring volume and support to both the upper and lower eye areas to achieve harmony and balance.

THE OUTCOME
The transformation was subtle yet impactful. By restoring volume to her upper eyelids and tear troughs, her eyes appeared more open, rested, and youthful.
