Background: This 48 year old woman from San Francisco was interested in augmenting her lips to provide more fullness and body, but without looking unnatural or having it be obvious that she had received treatment.

Dr Mabrie’s Assessment: “Her lips had a good shape to start, which makes filling in the existing area with volume-adding Dermafiller a quick and straight-forward procedure. The important thing is to follow the natural shape of the lips, plumping the area within instead of trying to add volume along the outer edges. This causes a fake appearance, making it noticeable that the patient has altered their natural shape.”

Procedure: 1 syringe Elevess injected to the lips.
Patients with allergies to sulfites should not use Elevess. If you have allergic symptoms when drinking red wine, this can indicate a sulfite allergy

Immediate Follow-Up: “She received dramatic results with just one syringe. Her lips are now the perfect size for her face, plump and full without being exaggerated. She is very pleased with her results.”
