Background: This Filipina woman consulted with Dr. Mabrie about Rhinoplasty Surgery to address her low nasal bridge. It bothered her for many years. Recently, her eyes began to make her look older, so she decided to have surgery for both.

Dr. Mabrie's Assessment: "Many of my San Francisco patients consult with me about lowering nasal hump. However, most of my Pacific Islander, Asian, and African American patients actually have low nasal bridges that they want to augment. What is great about this, is that it is something that is easy for me to do. In fact, these days we have the option of surgery or non-surgical procedures that may be done in the office.

Procedure: Augmentation Rhinoplasty using the patients cartilage.

1 Year Follow Up: She is very happy with her new nasal profile. While the bridge is higher and compliments her tip, it is natual in appearance.
