Traditional Facelift
Dr. Mabrie frequently performs the traditional facelift for patients with sagging skin on the face and neck. The procedure smoothes the neck area, reduces jowls, and refines the jaw line. The surgery can improve wrinkled skin, however, skin type and patient age are important factors in the final result.
Standard Facelift
Standard facelift incision placed in front of and behind ear extending into hair behind ear. The standard facelift lifts sagging skin along chin line and neck.

For a traditional facelift, Dr. Mabrie makes incisions around and behind each ear. He raises the skin, removes excess fat underneath, and uses sutures to tighten up the deep layers of muscle and connective tissue. He also removes excess skin.
A traditional facelift is often best for older patients with extensive sagging and for people looking for a dramatic improvement.
Short-Scar Facelift (Mini-Lift)
The short-scar facelift is known by a variety of different names, such as Limited-Incision Facelift or Mini-Lift. It is generally appropriate for patients who show early signs of aging in the face and do not have severe amounts of excess skin around their jaw line and neck. The key differentiator of the short-scar facelift is that there is no incision behind the ear into the hairline.
Mini-Facelift
Young woman's lift/ mini-lift incision is placed in front and behind ear with no incision into hair.
The mini-facelift lifts sagging skin along the chin line. There
is no scar between the ear and the hair,
making the incision more "pony-tail
friendly."

Dr. Mabrie frequently performs this type of facelift on younger patients with early signs of aging; those who have sagging cheeks without significant sagging of the neck skin.
S-Lift
This S-lift derives its name from the S shape of the excision that is used near the ear. The fixation of the soft tissue to the cheek bones provides stability and also fullness to the area. The S-Lift is not an invasive as the traditional facelift, therefore, there is less procedure time. This lowers the associated costs and shortens the recovery period. This lift is best for those who have early or minimal signs of aging.
Mid-Facelift
A mid-facelift is performed through tiny incisions placed inconspicuously within the hairline and on the inside of the mouth. During the procedure, Dr. Mabrie repositions the fat pads of the cheeks up and over the cheekbones back to their natural position. This re-draping improves the nasal furrows and restores your youthful appearance.
Featherlift/ Thread-Lift
The featherlift or threadlift is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that gives lift to the face with threads. The Featherlift is performed with the patient awake but under local anesthesia. Dr. Mabrie inserts threads-non-absorbable sutures with tiny barbs-into the subcutaneous layer of the skin using a small needle. The placement of the threads depends on the area needing to be lifted. No skin is removed, instead the barbs are used to lift the skin in an elevated position. This procedure has been recently developed and long-term results have not yet been determined. In general it is intended for patients with minimal signs of aging.
