Chin Projection
A well-defined chin balances out other features like the nose and lips and helps anchor both the masculine and feminine face shape. At MFI, we use filler to bring a small or receded chin out of the shadows and build structure in the lower face. We sometimes use BOTOX injections to release a tight mentalis muscle that may be pulling the chin back.

Chin Dimpling
The muscle involved in pouting and lip eversion (mentalis muscle) also pulls the chin backward, leading to dimpling and diminished chin projection when overactive. Trapezius BOTOX
The upper trapezius muscle can be overdeveloped due to tension or other factors. This can cause the neck to appear thicker and can create a sloped transition from the neck to the shoulder. “Barbie BOTOX” or “trap tox” can cause a reduction of the muscle and relieve pain associated with tight traps.
