Dr. Mabrie is continuing a family tradition, following the footsteps of his father, Dr. Herman J. Mabrie III, a well-respected Head & Neck surgeon in Houston, Texas.

As the son of a Head & Neck surgeon in Houston Texas, Dr. Mabrie realized early in his career the importance of a specialized training. He chose to complete a five year surgical residency in Head and Neck Surgery, performing over 2000 surgeries involving the head and neck. He then furthered his surgical training with a one year fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. This specialized training offers Dr. Mabrie an in-depth understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the nose, face, and neck.
