ABOUT OUR PATIENT
Our patient, a woman in her mid-40s, came to Mabrie Facial Institute® seeking to refine the results of four previous rhinoplasty surgeries. While the foundation of her nose was generally in good shape, she had lingering concerns: subtle irregularities along the nasal bridge and noticeable nostril asymmetry, with the left alar rim sitting higher than the right. Understandably, after undergoing multiple surgical procedures, she was not interested in another round in the operating room. Her goal was to smooth and balance her nose without surgery—just polished, natural-looking results.

MFI TREATMENT PLAN
At our San Francisco office, Dr. Mabrie created a custom treatment plan using our Signature Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty™ approach. Using Restylane® dermal filler, we addressed irregularities along the nasal bridge and, with careful technique, lowered the left alar rim to improve nostril symmetry. Because this was a revision case with delicate anatomy and a surgical history, we took a staged approach—achieving her results over two visits. This allowed us to fine-tune the placement and volume of filler while closely monitoring how the tissues responded. It’s a great example of how we use artistry and anatomy to create safe, subtle enhancements that honor prior surgical work.

THE OUTCOME
Over the course of two treatments, her nose was beautifully refined. The nasal bridge is now smoother, and the alar rims are more symmetrical, bringing the entire nose into better balance.
