ABOUT OUR PATIENT
This patient in her 30s came to MFI hoping to correct under eye filler she had received at another practice. The filler had been placed too superficially, resulting in a blue-gray tint beneath the skin — a common issue known as the Tyndall effect. Her goal was to achieve a refreshed, natural look without visible discoloration.

MFI TREATMENT PLAN
Her transformation began with dissolving the area using Hylenex, which removed the misplaced filler and cleared the area for precise re-treatment. Once the under eye region was ready, we rebuilt her results to brighten, lift, and harmonize the midface.

Treatment areas included:

Under Eyes – Dissolving with Hylenex: Removed previous filler placed too superficially, eliminating discoloration

Under Eyes (Restylane): Restored natural volume and smoothed tear trough hollowness for a refreshed appearance

Midface & Cheeks (Voluma): Added subtle lift and contour to support the under eyes and restore facial balance

THE OUTCOME
