ABOUT OUR PATIENT
This patient in his late 30s came to Mabrie Facial Institute wanting a smoother, more defined chin while preserving a strong, masculine appearance. His primary concern was the bumps, dimpling, and orange-peel texture across the chin, which became more noticeable with facial movement. This texture was largely caused by an overactive mentalis muscle, creating repeated contraction and puckering of the skin. In addition to smoothing the surface, he wanted his chin and lower face to look stronger and more structured overall.

MFI TREATMENT PLAN
Using our i360 approach, we assessed both the dynamic movement of his chin and the underlying structure of his lower face. Because his concern involved more than surface texture alone, treatment needed to address the muscle activity responsible for the dimpling while also improving the shape and proportions beneath it. A customized Lower Face Package combining Botox and dermal filler was completed across three treatment visits.

• Chin Bumps & Dimples: Precisely placed Botox relaxed excessive mentalis contraction, reducing puckering and creating a smoother chin surface.
• Chin: Structural dermal filler enhanced projection and shape, giving the chin a stronger, more defined foundation.
• Lower Face: Additional filler provided contour and support around the chin, improving overall lower-face balance.

THE OUTCOME
His chin now appears smoother, stronger, and more structured, with a significant reduction in visible bumps and dimpling. Relaxing the mentalis improved the skin's appearance, while filler strengthened the underlying contour for a more complete transformation. The result is cleaner, more masculine lower-face definition that remains natural and proportional to his features. Periodic maintenance allows us to preserve the smoother texture and continue refining his results over time.
