ABOUT OUR PATIENT
In his late 30s, this patient was bothered by visible chin dimpling and surface irregularities that disrupted the smooth contour of his lower face. While subtle, these textural changes affected how light reflected across his chin, creating a slightly uneven appearance at rest and with expression. He wanted a solution that felt natural—softening the dimpling without adding volume or altering his facial shape.
MFI TREATMENT PLAN
To address chin dimpling and restore a smoother surface, we used:
- BOTOX – A precise placement of Botox in the chin was used to relax the overactive mentalis muscle, which is responsible for the puckering and dimpling effect. By softening this muscle activity, the skin appears smoother and more even, allowing light to reflect more cleanly across the chin.
THE OUTCOME
The result is a noticeably smoother, more polished chin with softened dimpling and improved skin texture. His lower face now appears more refined and balanced, while still completely natural in motion and expression. A subtle change—yet one that elevates the harmony of the entire face.
