ABOUT OUR PATIENT
This patient in her 20s came to Mabrie Facial Institute wanting to improve her chin projection and create a softer, more feminine shape through the lower face. Her chin was naturally recessed and slightly uneven, which made the lower face appear shorter and contributed to the appearance of fullness beneath the chin. She wanted more definition and length, but with a subtle result that complemented her youthful features rather than making her chin look overly prominent.

MFI TREATMENT PLAN
Through our i360 Full Face approach, we looked beyond the chin itself to understand what was contributing to the overall shape of her lower face. By studying the contours around the mouth, chin, jawline, and chin-to-neck transition together, we could determine where adding structure would visually lengthen and refine the lower face. 

This guided a customized Lower Face Package, completed over two treatment visits with HA filler for gradual, controlled refinement.

• Chin: Structural filler added forward projection while smoothing asymmetry and creating a more elongated, feminine shape.
• Anterior Jawline: Strategic filler placement connected the chin more seamlessly into the jawline for a smoother, more continuous contour.
• Oral Commissures: Subtle support at the corners of the mouth softened shadows and improved the transition into the lower face.

THE OUTCOME
Her chin now appears more projected, symmetrical, and softly defined, giving the lower face greater length and a more feminine contour. Improving the chin and surrounding structure also visually reduces the appearance of under-chin fullness, creating a cleaner chin-to-neck transition. The result is subtle but impactful—her lower face looks more refined, proportionate, and balanced while preserving her naturally youthful appearance.
