Before And After Chin Projection Case 1395
ABOUT OUR PATIENT
In her 50s, this patient was interested in improving chin projection to create better facial balance. She felt her chin appeared recessed, which contributed to a softer profile and less definition between the lower face and neck. Her goal was not to look different, but to achieve a more proportionate and refined appearance that complemented her natural features.
Using a thoughtful, step-by-step approach, we designed a custom treatment plan focused on strengthening facial structure while maintaining a natural look.
MFI TREATMENT PLAN
Every treatment at MFI begins with an i360 Full Face Assessment, a comprehensive evaluation of facial structure, proportions, and the way light moves across the face. Rather than treating the chin in isolation, we assessed how the chin related to the forehead, nose, lips, jawline, and neck to create a result that felt balanced and naturally harmonious.
- Structured Dermal Fillers for Chin Projection - Carefully placed dermal fillers were used to enhance chin projection and provide greater structural support to the lower face. By improving projection and facial proportions, the chin became more balanced with the surrounding features, creating a stronger and more refined profile.
- Botox to the Mentalis Muscle - Botox was used to relax the mentalis muscle, which can contribute to chin dimpling and excessive muscle activity. Softening this muscle helped create a smoother chin contour and supported the structural improvements achieved with filler.
THE OUTCOME
Over the course of several treatments, this patient achieved a subtle yet meaningful improvement in chin projection and lower-face definition. Her profile appears more balanced, her facial proportions more harmonious, and her overall appearance refreshed without looking overdone. The result is a natural enhancement that reflects the MFI approach: treating the face as a whole, then designing precise refinements that elevate overall facial harmony.
