ABOUT OUR PATIENT

This patient in his 20s came to Mabrie Facial Institute wanting to improve the appearance of a double chin and create a stronger, more masculine profile. His chin lacked projection and definition, which shortened the lower face and made the area beneath the chin appear fuller. Rather than focusing on the under-chin area alone, his goal was to create better structure around it, giving his profile a sharper chin-to-neck transition and more defined lower-face proportions.

MFI TREATMENT PLAN

With our i360 Full Face approach, we evaluated how the projection of his chin and the strength of his jawline influenced the appearance of under-chin fullness. By strategically building the framework of the lower face, we could visually streamline this area without directly treating the fullness itself. We also considered how these changes would relate to his midface and nose for balanced proportions from every angle.

• Chin + Jawline: Structural fillers, including Restylane, Juvederm, and Radiesse, added projection and definition. Strengthening these contours created a cleaner chin-to-neck transition and visually reduced the appearance of a double chin.
• Cheeks + Midface: Filler enhanced supportive contour and balanced the stronger lower-face structure.
• Under Eyes: Filler softened hollowness and created a smoother transition into the cheeks.
• Nose: Nonsurgical rhinoplasty refined the nasal contour to improve overall profile harmony.

THE OUTCOME

His profile now appears sharper, stronger, and noticeably more defined. Increased chin projection visually lengthens the lower face, while enhanced jawline structure creates a cleaner separation between the face and neck. Together, these changes significantly reduce the appearance of under-chin fullness without directly removing fat.
