ABOUT OUR PATIENT

This patient in her 20s came to Mabrie Facial Institute with two goals: she wanted relief from persistent teeth clenching and grinding, and she wanted to soften the wider, more squared appearance of her lower face. Her overactive masseter muscles had become prominent over time, creating uncomfortable jaw tension while adding fullness along the sides of her face. She wanted a slimmer, more tapered facial shape while maintaining her naturally youthful features.

Through our i360 Full Face approach, we considered both the functional and aesthetic effects of her strong masseter muscles. Rather than focusing solely on facial slimming, we looked at how reducing lower-face width would interact with her cheek structure, jawline, under eyes, and profile. This allowed us to create a more refined facial shape while maintaining balanced proportions.

• Masseter Botox: Strategically placed Botox relaxed the overactive masseter muscles responsible for her chronic clenching and grinding. As the muscles gradually reduced in prominence, the lower face became slimmer and more tapered.
• Midface + Under Eyes: Soft, flexible filler refreshed under-eye hollowness, while more supportive filler enhanced midface structure and balance.
• Jawline: Structural filler added definition along the jaw, complementing the slimming effect of the masseter treatment.
