In her 20s, this patient was tired of feeling like she had a “baby face” and wanted her appearance to better reflect her maturity and naturally sophisticated features. Her primary concern was a softer, heavier-looking lower face and a jawline that lacked the definition she desired. 

A long history of teeth clenching and grinding also contributed to fullness through the lower face. Her goal wasn’t to dramatically change her appearance, but to create a slimmer, more sculpted silhouette with stronger jawline definition—helping her look more like the confident, mature woman she felt herself to be.

Her treatment began with an i360 Full Face assessment—MFI’s comprehensive approach to evaluating the face as one interconnected structure rather than treating a single feature in isolation. We considered her facial proportions, contours, muscle activity, and how light and shadow moved across her features to design a plan that would bring greater definition to the lower face while maintaining harmony throughout.

• Jawline Definition: Dermal filler was strategically placed to sharpen and sculpt the jawline, creating cleaner contours and a more structured profile.
• Facial Slimming: Botox was used in the masseter muscles to relax the overactive muscles contributing to both lower-face fullness and her persistent teeth clenching and grinding. As the muscles gradually relaxed, her lower face appeared slimmer and more refined while also providing significant relief from the constant clenching and grinding that had been bothering her.
