ABOUT OUR PATIENT

Following significant weight loss, this patient in her 30s noticed increasing changes through the lower face, with marionette lines and jowling becoming a primary concern. Loss of facial support around the mouth, chin, and jawline affected the definition she once had and created a heavier appearance through the lower face. She wanted a more structured, balanced look without surgery—and without looking overfilled.

Her marionette lines and jowling treatment was approached as part of a comprehensive i360 Full Face plan. By looking beyond the lines themselves and addressing the surrounding facial framework, we could restore support and create a smoother, more defined transition from the midface through the jawline and neck.

MFI TREATMENT PLAN

Her customized i360 Full Face treatment plan included:

• Marionette Lines & Jowling: Restylane was used around the marionette area, while RHA 4 helped restore structure through the cheeks, midface, and jawline. This combination supports the tissues surrounding the lower face, softens the appearance of marionette lines, and creates more defined contours around areas of jowling.
• Full-Face Dermal Filler: Restylane was also used for the under eyes, lips, and nose, while Restylane Lyft refined the forehead contour. These supporting treatments helped create balanced proportions rather than treating the lower face in isolation.
• Daxxify Neuromodulator: Daxxify was used in the DAOs, masseters, and platysma bands to complement lower-face contouring and refine the jawline and neck. The forehead, frown lines, and crow’s feet were also treated to soften expression lines and maintain harmony throughout the face.

THE OUTCOME

Seven months after beginning treatment, her lower face and jawline appear more structured and defined, with a smoother transition around the marionette lines and jowling. Her profile looks refined, while her features remain natural and distinctly her own.
